Twitter announced today their integration with Ping, iTunes social network for music. While reports say Steve Jobs originally wanted to merge with Facebook, who has over 500 million users, Twitter may be the more appropriate fit. The integration allows users to share the songs they purchased, or band they discovered via Twitter. It also provides an opportunity for users to purchase the song directly from the iTunes store. Will you use Ping on Twitter? We're curious how online advertisements will come into play. Thoughts?
