This weekend was the 2010 Seattle Goodwill Glitter Sale at their Dearborn store. I now understand why it's called the 'Glitter Sale', from the endless articles of glitzy- glamour clothing. The entire store was packed! For instance, women were trying on ballroom gowns and glittery sweaters in the hallways, endless rows of color coordinated shoes, handbags as well as a line just to take a peek into the jewelry display cases. I would say people had their game faces on- determined to find stunning pieces at a low price. All in all, everyone who attended, came to support Goodwill and their job training and education program. In fact, there was even a donation line in the parking lot. Did you attend the Glitter Sale?
