Denny's Begins Rebranding Their Image

With a $60 million new advertising campaign- Denny's is repositioning their brand into a diner, including a new tagline "America's diner is always open". Their new commercial spots are marked contrast to their old campaign positioning Denny's against fast food restaurants for a low priced meal. Denny's, known as America's family restaurant aims to provide friendlier service and cheaper menu's, including their value menu. Will the word 'diner' persuade customers to go eat at Denny's? Or will it be hard to reposition their 58 years of family restaurant mantle?
