We had a feeling this would be announced today.. as we predicted on yesterday's blog post. With much speculation and rumors swirling in the last year, the day has come for Verizon to carry the iPhone. AT&T has had exclusivity on the iPhone for over 4 years now. Although the carrier has made it difficult to switch to Verizon, including termination fees and so forth, it will be interesting to see how many people switch in the coming months. Verizon has already had a ton of success carrying Google's Android and other Blackberry devices. Could Verizon's new launch of the iPhone give the brand a competitive advantage in the market?
