Groupon's New Competitor: Google Offers
Mashable reported this morning that Google is launching their own deal saving site called Google Offers. Google had offered to buy their biggest competitor Groupon earlier this year, for a staggering $6 billion but later declined. The search giant wants to be apart of this market category so badly, they're making their own. It will be interesting to see what Google's marketing strategy will be to beat the already successful Groupon. Do you think Google Offers has a chance in this marketplace? Should Groupon and LivingSocial be worried? Let us know what you think.
