What Does The New Jet Blue Ad Campaign and Taxi Cabs Have in Common?

Our advertising coordinator, Julie LeVeque forwarded today’s FastCompany article about the brand and marketing changes coming to the airline Jet Blue. Their previous advertising campaign focused on “Happy Jetting”, highlighting the positive experiences of flying on Jet Blue. Although there may be one attendant infamous for an impromptu emergency slide ride with two beers in hand who has a different opinion, overall Jet Blue boasts a more positive experience for passengers. However, most airlines focus on exactly that, their ability to do so more than the next. In an effort to avoid the sea of sameness, the bane of Rick Stanton’s existence, Jet Blue decided to take a different approach. It is so spot on, I audibly gasped when watching the spots. You have absolutely got to watch these, and then you’ve got to tell us what you think. Am I wrong? Are they not spot on?

I want the rest of my soda, and I want it now.
