Starting next week, all Seattle Starbucks locations will begin serving beer & wine. This new project will transform their stores to a more European feel. The company will provide regional beer and wine, locally made cheeses and an after evening hang out with dimmed lights, music, or poetry readings. Many argue that this will be too big of a change for Starbucks. This "After Hours" project will be added to all 16,000 stores in the near future. The almost 40 year old company believes targeting the evening crowd will become more profitable, as 70% of revenue is made before 2 p.m. Is this a good move for the Starbucks brand? Tell us what you think.
