Once again, I write about something that outwardly appears to have nothing to do with marketing. And yet, maybe it does.
Yesterday, I was on my morning ferry commute across the Puget Sound on a stunning August morning. My friend was trying to center herself for another day of work. She quoted Warren Buffett’s late wife’s words of wisdom for life – simple but really powerful all at once.
*Show up
*Tell the truth
*Pay attention
*Do your best
*Don’t be attached to the outcome.
I guess it applies to just about anything. Marketing. Retail. Banking. Law….
Did I get it right, Gail?
